Golden DTF started the way most good businesses do. Not with a grand plan, but with a reputation that kept growing past the place it was built.
For years, On The Island Apparel has operated Long Island DTF Printing out of Long Island, New York. What began as a local shop serving the surrounding area became something more: a go-to source for print shops, Etsy sellers, and apparel brands who needed DTF transfers done right and done fast. Orders started arriving from Virginia, Texas, and California. People who had found us online, taken a chance, and kept coming back. It became clear that what we were doing on the Island did not need to stay there.
The name came naturally. Sadie, our golden retriever, has been part of the operation since the beginning. Somewhere between the production table and the front door on any given day. Loyal and completely unbothered by deadlines. Reliable in a way that sets a standard. That is the kind of business we set out to build. The gold in Golden DTF is not about aesthetics. We launched Golden DTF to bring that same production quality to a national audience without compromising what made the local shop worth talking about. There are no mystery middlemen here. Long Island DTF Printing launches out of the same building. Local decorators and print shops start relying on us for consistent results, fast turnarounds, and no minimum orders.
Chapter 3
Orders Arrive From Across the Country
Print shops in Virginia, Texas, and California find us online, take a chance, and keep coming back. It becomes clear that what we are doing on the Island does not need to stay there.
Chapter 4
Golden DTF Launches Nationally
